Bruce Stydnicki recently joined Buckeye Power as an IT network administrator.
He joins the Information Systems and Technical Services group and reports to Herb Caldwell, director.
Prior to working at Buckeye, Stydnicki was a Network Services Supervisor for the State of Ohio Department of Mental Health for 12 years. In his position, he was responsible for supervising a team that provided statewide IT network support to over 2,500 users.
Bruce has more than 20 years of experience as an IT engineer/ consultant having worked with a number of IT infrastructure and solutions provider companies.
In his new role with Buckeye Power, Stydnicki will provide a wide range of information technology systems support for corporate operations and business process systems including work with servers, work stations, system security measures, radio, voice and data communications, LAN and WAN networks, and technical support of the load management operations center. Where needed, Stydnicki will also support the Ohio cooperatives.
A native Ohioan, Stydnicki grew up in Lorain and moved to Columbus to start his IT career. He graduated from the University of Akron with an associate’s degree in electronic technology.
