Buckeye Power submits comments on flawed EPA regulatory proposal

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed rules for limiting the greenhouse gas emissions from new power plants. The comment period for concerned groups and individuals to express their views on the proposal recently came to a close.

Buckeye Power, the generation-and-transmission cooperative serving the 25 member-owned distribution cooperatives operating in Ohio, submitted comments pointing out flaws in the EPA’s rule-making progress and asking for the proposed rule to be withdrawn.
