NRECA CEO Jo Ann Emerson leads a question-and-answer session with cooperative leaders

New CEO Jo Ann Emerson introduced herself to electric cooperative trustees, managers and staffers in a series of town hall-type meetings during the 2013 National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., this week.

The former Missouri congresswoman shared her philosophy on political engagement, consensus building and issues critical to the Co-op Nation in wide-ranging question-and-answer sessions held several times over the course of the three-day event.
